When an assassin makes an attempt at Captain Killian Montague’s life, Mira Williams and the crew of the Skyscraper must begin an investigation that leads to a man the crew had freed from slavery years before, leading Mira to wonder if freeing her childhood friend was the right choice to make.

This story focuses on Mira Williams, a member of Captain Montague’s crew. Writing from her point of view definitely was a lot of fun. It gave me the chance to think more about character development and to really focus in on the idea of how a character would act or speak differently than Montague or the others that had been mentioned.
